“Guess Who’s Back, Back Again”

It’s been a while since I’ve posted (37 days, 1 hour and 35 minutes to be exact), so I figured I’d give you all a holler.

A few weeks ago, I gave up my flexible, aimless, yoga-filled schedule to live the sleepless, structured, 9 to 5 life I’d always dreamed of. (It’s more glamorous than it sounds. Promise.) I’ve started work as a copywriter and can finally say that I’ve reached, crossed, and conquered yet another milestone in my life. Just call me Peggy!

(Yes, that was a Mad Men reference. Hats off to the greatest show to ever grace my television screen.)

From here on out, I’ll be working to restructure my blog. I’d like it to mimic the face-to-face conversation you and I would have sitting on the couch. But I’ve found that the site is starting to mirror a resume more than anything.

I’d like it to have a more uniform appearance, one that follows a particular theme. But this is difficult to achieve when you’re an aspiring fiction novelist who likes to vent about her very nonfictional life and sometimes publishes articles on relationships and green tea, but plans to chart across unknown lands and waters, jotting down her findings along the way. That’s just me — all over the place. But if you’ve been following me since the beginning, you may remember the quote I included in my header (for obvious reasons):

“Not all those who wander are lost.” – J.R.R. Tolkien

So revamping my site is a work in progress. For now, bare with me (and maybe bear with me) as we enjoy the ride together.

Happy Wednesday all, and have a beautiful week!
